Directions to Beauvoir.

Beauvoir is part of the village of Branges. The nearest town is Louhans, at 5 km (3.1 mi) of Beauvoir.

Beauvoir lis 700 km from Calais and is easily reached by:

  •  The A31/ A6 junction Chalons-Sud (another 30 km)

  •  The A39 junction Lons Le Saunier (another 20 km)

Directions

  • Take the A31 to Dijon

  • At the A39 interchange there are 2 options:

route A:     

  • Continue along the A31 which will lead into the A6 until the Chalon-Sud junction

  • Take the N78 to Louhans, Lons-le-Saunier

  • Just before the city limits take a right turn into the D978 to BRANGES / Chalon par Montret

route B: preferable from Calais

  • Take the A39 to Genève, Dole

  • Continue along this motorway until juncton 8 Lons-le-Saunier / Louhans

  • Take the N78 to Louhans

  • In Louhans, first take the N78 naar Chalon sur Saône,  but at the end of the city limits take a left turn into the D978 to BRANGES / Chalon par Montret. (Don't take the D160 to Branges)

Continuation for both routes:

  • Continue along the D978

  • After approximately 3 km you will see on your right a retailer in agricultural machinery “Espace Emeraude”

  • Take a right turn straight after the retailer to Beauvoir (the sign is barely noticeable since there is a sign for the other side of the road placed in front of it, but in case of a mistake there is another right turn after 150 m)

  • Carry on this route until a junction with a crucifix

  • Take a left turn into the Rue de Beauvoir

  • Continue on this road, past a junction,until it leads into the Rue des Cadolles

  • After approximately 200 m on your left hand you will see the house, which has a green gate, house number 335 and the name “Jardin Beauvoir”.
